Tahoe Rim Race
Lucy and I were at the inaugural Tahoe Rim Race.  Though the race didn't make it over to Northstar because of the weather it was a fun day.  The organizers did a good job with the challenging conditions.  I was lucky with my kick wax and had good kick for the day using Toko red.   Post race there was a feed was as good as any I've had.    

The Stable Quiver is now a Lake shoe dealer.  The Lake Cycling shoe line is lean on color and more about fit and durability. Lake makes cycling shoes using leather uppers for a better fit than synthetics.  They offer mens and womens sizes in most models and some models come in widths for the wide footers.  Lake also uses double and triple stitching for durability.  Lake shoes may be a little heavier then some other shoes on the market but they are bomber tough and after the leather is broken in they will fit great for years.  Check them at www.lakecycling.com
